She was the daughter of John Conger (born 1633 - died 1712) and Mary Kelly (born around 1633) Children of John David Sutton & Elizabeth Conger 1.  Moses Sutton   Born, Feb. 2, 1695 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. He married Jannetye Boice in 1717 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. Moses died in March of 1740/41 in Peapack, Bedminster Twp, Somerset, NJ.. Jannetye Boice was born in1698. 2. Aaron Sutton   Born July 2, 1699 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. He married Sarah Dunham. Aaron died in April of 1746 in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. 3. John Sutton   Born Sept. 19, 1701 in  Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. He married Mary Mercy Martin in 1729. John died in 1761 in Basking Ridge, Somerset Co., NJ..  Mary Mercy Martin was born Sept. 21, 1707 in Piscataway, Middle Co., NJ.. She died Aug. 25, 1758 in Washington Co., PA.. She was the daughter of  Jonathan Martin & Elizabeth Dunham.   John later married Mary Cox about 1760 in NJ.. 4. David Sutton   Born July 31, 1703 in  Bernard Twp, Basking Ridge, NJ.. He married  Elizabeth Cox  about 1723 in Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ.. He died Dec. 19, 1775 in Basking Ridge, Bernard Twp, Somerset Co., NJ..  Elizabeth Cox was born about 1705 in NJ.. She died about 1746 in Somerset Co., NJ..    David later married Sarah Tembley in 1746 in Somerset Co., NJ.. She was born in1715 in Bernard Twp, Somerset, NJ.. She died sometime after 1775 in Essex Co., NJ.. 5. James L. Sutton   Born May 9, 1709 in  Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. He married  Margaret Davidson before 1735. He died in 1791 in Hackettstown, Warren Co, NJ.. Margaret Davidson's death date was around 1735. James married again about 1735 in New Jersey to Hannah Louise Freeman. She was born before 1720 and died around 1786 in NJ.. 6. Jesse B Sutton  Born July 6, 1711 in  Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ.. He married the daughter of  Henrick Slecht and Anna Sutton,  She was born about 1730 in NJ.. He died in 1795 in Sussex Co., NJ.. 7. She died in 1758 in Mt. Olive Morris Co., NJ.. Jacob Cozad II. was born Jan. 24, 1723/24 in Bound Brook, Somerset Co., NJ.. He died  Jan. 26, 1812 in  Mt. Olive, Morris Co, NJ.. Isaac Sutton,   Born in 1729 in Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ.. He died May 25, 1799 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. He married  Rachel Doty in1749 in Washington Valley, NJ.. Rachel Doty was born about 1740 in Somerset Co., NJ.. She died in1795. She was the daughter of Benjamin Doty. 4. David Sutton Jr,   Born in1732. He married  Phebe Ann Winters in 1760 in Hunterdon, NJ..He died Oct. 22, 1812 in Amwell, Bethleham Twp, Washington Co., PA.. Phebe Ann Winters was born in 1724 in Middletown, Monmouth Co.. NJ.. She died Jan. 12, 1784 in  Bethleham Twp, Washington Co, PA.. She was the daughter of Andrew Winters. 5. John Sutton,   Born Feb.12, 1732/33 in Basking Ridge, Morristown Twp, NJ.. He married Ruth Stout in1763 in Hopewell, Mercer Co., NJ.. He died about 1813 in Woodford, Harrodsburg, KY..Ruth Stout died sometime after 1780. She was the daughter of John Stout and Catherine (unknown). 6. Abraham Sutton,  Born Mar. 12, 1738/39 in Bernard Twp, Somerset Co., NJ.. He married Mary Chenowith April 23, 1760 in Hunterdon Co., NJ.. He died in 1800 in Anwell, Washington Co., PA.. Mary Chenowith was born Mar 22, 1743/44 in NJ.. She died in 1790 in Washington Co., PA.. She was the daughter of William Chenowith. 7. Sarah Sutton,   Born about 1743 in Basking Ridge, Somerset Co., NJ.. She married Isaac Cox in 1761 in Basking Ridge, Somerset Co., NJ.. She died about 1828 in Oshborne, Greene Co., OH.. Isaac Cox  was born June 25, 1743 in  Somerset Co., NJ.. He died in 1837 in Lewis Co., VA.. He was the son of Philip Cox and Hannah Trembley. ( I do not know if Sarah (listed above) and James (listed below) were twins, however they married a brother and sister and also died in the same year.) 8. Hannah Cox was born in 1745 in Blue Hills, Somerset Co., NJ.. She died 1792 in  Bourbon Co, KY.. She was the daughter of Philip Cox and Hannah Trembley. 9. Susannah Cox  was born Mar. 22, 1747 in Blue Hills, Somerset Co., NJ.. He died Dec. 7, 1827 Lyme Twp, Huron Co., OH.. Susannah Cox died Apr.10, 1831 in Lyme, Huron Co., OH.. She was the daughter of Philip Cox and Hannah Tembley.     Isaac Sutton, listed above (#3), is the next direct link to this Ulmer family.

Isaac Sutton,   Born in 1729 in Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ.. He died May 25, 1799 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. He married Rachel Doty in1749 in Washington Valley, NJ.. Rachel Doty,  Born about 1740 in Somerset Co., NJ.. She died in1795. She was the daughter of Benjamin Doty. Children of Isaac Sutton and Rachel Doty 1. Sarah McCoy,  Born Jan.15, 1758, Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. She died Aug. 3, 1822 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. She was the daughter of James McCoy and Ann Bruce. Children of Samuel Sutton and Sarah McCoy 1. David Sutton,   Born Dec. 14, 1774 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. He married Letitia Gard about 1798 in Fayette Co., PA.. He died Aug. 20, 1863 in Rush Co., IN.. Letitia Gard was born Mar 26, 1778 in NJ.. She died in Rush Co., IN. on July 25, 1840. She was the daughter of Moses Gard and Sarah Lyons. 2. He married Hannah Gard Jan 29, 1805 in Fayette Co., PA..He died  Jan. 7, 1861 in Dixon, Preble Co, OH.. Hannah Gard  was born May 20, 1784 in Preble Co., OH.. She was the daughter of Jacob Gard and Sarah Morris of New Jersey. She died Feb 21, 1862 in Preble Co., OH.. George and Hannah Sutton were the parents of Harvey Sutton (b: July, 1826 in Ohio). Harvey married Lucy A. Miller, from Georgia. Harvey and Lucy were the parents of Leroy Sutton, born April 18, 1854 in Franklin Co., Indiana. Leroy married Sarah Ella Baer in March of 1878 in La Salle Co., Illinois. About 1817 he married Maria Jackaway in Fayette Co., PA.. Maria Jackaway was born June 15, 1787 in Fayette Co., PA.. She died Dec 14, 1861. Maria was the daughter of  Mordecai Jackaway and Marie Vanderhoof. 9. Jacob Sutton,   Born July 18, 1791 in  Hopwood, Fayette Co., PA.. He died about 1858. His wife's first name was Hannah. 10. David Sutton    Born Dec. 14, 1774 in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA.. He died Aug 20, 1853 in Rush Co., IN.. He married Letitia Gard about 1798 in Fayette Co., PA.. Letitia Gard   Born Mar 26, 1778 in NJ.. She died in Rush Co., IN. on July 25, 1840. She was the daughter of Moses Gard and Sarah Lyons. A photo of this couple's headstones are available, click ___________________________________________________ This section of information is courtesy of Sam Sutton, a descendant of this Sutton lineage: David Sutton was born, per his tombstone, on December 14, 1774 around Uniontown Pennsylvania.  In the late 1790s, he married Letitia Gard in Fayette County, PA.  Per the 1850 federal census, his second child Rachel was born on Feb. 5, 1800 in PA.  He probably relocated shortly thereafter to Butler County, Ohio, for on April 15, 1803, the state legislature appointed him a commissioner to select a site for the county courthouse.  As of August 10, 1812, he was serving as a sergeant in Captain Joel Collins' Volunteer of Riflemen of the Ohio Militia. He saw service in the War of 1812 in northern Indiana until his probable discharge in March of 1813. On September 10, 1827, he purchased and presumably relocated to a 160 acre parcel located in Section 29 of the SW quadrant of Noble Township in Rush County, IN.  Per his tombstone, he died February 21, 1863 and was buried at the Heaton Graveyard on Streets' Farm in Noble. Letitia Gard, per her tombstone, was born on March 26, 1778, in the state of New Jersey.  She gave birth to twelve children. She died July 25, 1840 and is buried in the Heaton Graveyard on Streets' Farm in Rush County, IN. ____________________________________________________ Children of David Sutton and Letitia Gard (the order of the below list may not be correct, nor is it complete per Sam Sutton's information) 1. Rachel Sutton,  born Feb. 5, 1800 in Pennsylvania. She married Samuel McVicker. Samuel was born on Jan. 31, 1790 in Morris Co., New Jersey. Rachel died on Aug. 25, 1863 in Lagro, Wabash Co., Indiana. Samuel died on May 11, 1850 in Lagro, Wabash Co., Indiana. The couple married on Feb. 25, 1819 in Mill, Butler Co., Ohio. David McVicker, b: Dec. 24, 1829 in Rush Co., Indiana; d: Sep. 12, 1862 in Wabash, Indiana, was a son of Rachel Sutton and Samuel McVicker. David married Margaret I. Jonas, b: 1834 in Ohio. Other children Rachel and Samuel had are; William, b: 1820 - Ohio; Susan, b: Mar. 8, 1823 (married Hosea H. Reed); Catherine, b: 1827 in Lagro Twp. Wabash Co., IN.; David (listed above); Daniel, b: 1827; Joseph, b: 1842; and Jennie, b: 1844. She married Thomas Murphey, born about 1812 in Ohio Co. W. VA.. Thomas died June 6, 1903 in Clark Co.
