Earl, as he went by, was born Sept. 12, 1895. He and his brother, Floyd, both severed in WWI. Their names are on the WWI Monument located in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Maryville, MO.. He was the son of Clarence Monroe Pope; b. June 7, 1871. Earl married Marie Luella Sturm, Nov. 11, 1924, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Maryville, MO.. Marie's dates are on the stone photo, (left). Earl died Sept. 2, 1976 and is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maryville, MO.. You'll find more about this couple here |
