Sappie Susanna Bartee, was the seventh child born to Thomas Perry and Ruth Ann Bartee. She was born on March 9, 1898 in Dallas County, Missouri.
Sappie married Albion Leslie House. Albion House was born Sept. 30, 1894 in Missouri. Albion's WWI draft card, dated June 5, 1917, indicates Albion was of medium height, slender, had blue eyes, and light brown hair. Both Albion's parents, William and Nancy House, were also born in Missouri. William was born about 1866, and Nancy was born about 1863. Albion also had one brother named Ouscar (Oscar?), born about 1887. In 1910, the family of William and Nancy House was living in Sherman Township, Dallas Co., Missouri.
The 1930 census indicates Sappie and Albion were living in Grant Township, Dallas Co., Missouri. They had five children, and William House was living with his son and daughter-in-law. William is listed as being a "Widower" in the census report.

It also indicates he was of medium height, slender built, had light blue eyes, and black hair.
The 1930 census indicates Carterina Bartee was living with her parents, William E. and Annie Bennett in the southwest part of Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. Asa's and Catherina's daughter, Ethel Anne, age 11 months, was with her mother at that time. As to where Asa was working, and living at the time of that 1930 census being taken, I don't know.
