The Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery is located east of Gittings Mound in Illinois. South of Terre Haute, on highway 94, about 2 miles is the county line. On the county line is road number N3000. Go west on N3000 aprox. 2 miles, on your left you will find the cemetery. (Gittings Mound is some distance to the west of the cemetery and is the highest point in the county.) James Yeager and Nancy Hayden, grandparents of Lucy Alfronso (Pope) Ulmer are buried at this cemetery. This photo was taken in August, 2003. |
